Perfect on Paper

I just read a book called Perfect on Paper, by Maria Murnane. Although you can tell that it is obviously her first book, it is cute and has a good little story.

The book details all the crazy and somewhat crappy things that happen in the life of the leading lady: Waverly Bryson (like the cracker). At the start, her fiance dumps her the day before the wedding, saying that "I'm just not in love with you."

The rest of the books happens over the course of about two years, involves a lot of drinking (which I could have done without), a lot of bad dates and some rather funny Honey Notes.

Overall, I'd say check the book out sometime. At a solid B+, I think you'd enjoy it.

Eat, Pray, Love

I just recently finished reading the much lauded Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I fell in love with the book fro the beginning when Liz was traveling through Italy.

In this fantastic book, Liz leaves a hollow marriage to travel through three different countries and find herself. She leaves behind her life in America for a year and goes through Italy, India and Bali(Indonesia) to figure out who she is and what she really wants from life.

I cannot recommend Eat, Pray, Love enough. If you want a truly great read, this is the book for you.
